I became a mom days after my 18th birthday so, by default, I have a soft spot for single moms and those that need information.

Resourceful-Mom.com is, quite simply, my life. The stories, while probably not unusual, are 100% my own.  Trust me, you can’t make up a life like mine – LOL!

My hope is that you find something useful and that you tweet, email, comment and share with others.

• On January 11th, I became a proud LuLu (that’s “grandmother” for the young at heart ) to Criston Lee!
• I have never owned a domestic car.
• I’m detail oriented but far from organized.
• I love animals, currently, I have 2 cats -  Jazz and Reece.
• My ideal morning is having coffee at dawn on my back porch while watching  the wildlife.
• I’m a perfectionist.
• Every Easter, as a child, I got a white rabbit.
• My favorite color was black until a few years ago, now I love royal blues and fuchias.
• I’ve taken French (in high school) and Spanish (recently) but didn’t do well in either.
• I’d rather read than watch TV.
• I’ve been typing since I was in the 10th grade.
• I seldom read fictional books.
• I love high heels.
• I love to dance.
• I’m a recovering shopaholic.
• I’ve visited Cancun, the Bahamas and St. Lucia.
• I prefer not to fly.
• I’ve only been on one cruise.
• I enjoy driving through the mountains during a sunrise.
• And, yes, my Twitter background is a sunrise from a recent trip to Daytona Beach.
